Properties: 90Y is an ideal radionuclide for treatment, its half-life is 64 hours, the radiation type is pure beta radiation (2.288 MeV), can be obtained by 90Sr-90Y generator. 90Y is mainly used for the preparation of radiopharmaceuticals for treatment. 90Y-glass microspheres and 90Y-resin microspheres (20-30 micron) were used to treat hepatocellular carcinoma (intra-arterial injection). 90Y-EDTMP was used to treat leukemia and myeloma.
